Why have I written This Book?

The topic of building assertiveness and learning to work with one’s own fear is broad and has many important contexts. Each of these contexts affects the outcome of our reactions.

The fear of being oneself can be described in many ways:

  • Stockholm Syndrome
  • Self-Harm
  • Being a Victim
  • Depression
  • Mania
  • Addictions

These are the main currents of emotional freezing within one’s own body.

In this guide, I’ve shared exercises designed to help you break free from the external symptoms of fear that can hold you back.

From my observations and personal experience, it’s best to start practicing now.

There is no better way to free yourself than by working on the basics of your personal development. While this guide is just one approach, there are many other solutions to awaken your courage

Keep in mind, if you choose to stay where you are instead of making changes, the process of repair will take twice as long in the future as it would if you begin today.

Why? Because the neural circuits in your brain responsible for reflexive reactions and behaviors that go AGAINST YOUR TRUE NEEDS will become even more ingrained, making them harder to change. The longer you wait, the more challenging it becomes to rewire those patterns.

That’s why I urge you not to delay. The sooner you act, the faster and more effectively you’ll reach your goals.

So, are you waiting, or are you acting? ❤️ The choice is yours. I, too, spent a long time rationalizing painful situations, delaying the moment I could speak assertively.

By working on yourself, not only can you save yourself, but you can also contribute to a safer world. The more of us who refuse to accept psychological or physical violence, the more secure we’ll feel, and the more peacefully we’ll be able to resolve conflicts.
